"How is work being going son?" Dad asked as we sat down in his study room.

"It has been going fine dad." I replied him with a shrug of my shoulders. Dad removed his glasses and left his table and came to sit on the chair beside me.

"I heard you assaulted an employee, is that true?" He asked the question that I knew he was going to. I knew the reason he called me was to ask me questions about this and what has been going on at the office.

"It wasn't my fault dad. That bitch—" I was trying to say something but dad shut me up with a hard slap across the face. He was already standing and in front of me.

His palm already landed on my cheek before he realized what he had done.

"You never hit Caden. Am I that bad of a son to you? You would not even ask me my own side of the story. This is not fair Mr Holtons. I know you are already contemplating on whether to hand over the company or not.
