Chapter Fifty Eight

"Put more highlighter; I want my cheeks to sparkle, like a diamond, so all eyes will be on me," Kelly said.

"Why would you add more highlighter? This one is enough."

She snatched the highlighter from my hand, added another layer of it, and blended it a bit with a brush.

"Now it looks good. Where is that bodycon diamond dress? I thought I kept it on the bed?"

"I put it on the chair, so I would not mistakenly sit on it," I said and pointed at the chair.

We have been in Kelly's room getting ready for the mating ceremony for the last two hours. After we said goodbye to Clara, I made a quick stop at our room, though Reagan was not in. He left me a note telling me that he was having a meeting but had asked Stephen to have the cooks bring us food.

I took some gala-worthy clothes from my wardrobe and then headed to Kelly's room. She was flirting with a man, whom I recognized to be one of Reagan's guards, and they were in front of her door.
