LUCA“We’ve found the punk that caused the club incident.” Enzo reports when he walked into my office, Gabe strides in behind him.“Good. Where was he found?” I asked, leaning into my chair. I propped my right elbow against the handrest and laid my head against it.“At one of the club house, the guys there said the fucker just wandered in mindlessly, so they contacted us once they had him pinned down.” Gabe explained.“That’s good, what else?”“Nothing more, sir. His clean trimmed hair combed back with a strand that falls over his forehead, sharp golden brown eyes that looked at me with hate and his neatly trimmed dark beards that featured specks of white. My mind was foggy but I cleanly remember Luca stepping out of the room to attend to business as he said.This was not Luca’s hand. And they'd never cover my mouth and nose in an attempt to seize my breathing either.I writhe, struggling against whoever's stronghold it was, my screams muffled by cold hands. The room was dimly lit and the shadows crowned the face of the intruder so I couldn't see clearly either but from the body outline and brute strength, I knew it was a man. His low gruffs as he tries to cage me down told me so as well.My heart thumped wildly in my chest and I threshed wildly for my release. “Stay fucking still… you… fucking bitch!” His irritated voice growled into the dark and a smack snaps my head to the side and a searing pain numbs my brain.My eyes stinged with tears and the spot he'd just hit me burned from the intensity of his hand and my body stills underneath him as he held me down.

LUCA“Boss,” Gabe regards me as he walks into the room, a scowl sits on his face.“What’s the situation on ground?” I ask, walking past him with a gun in my hand, my fingers twitching to fucking out a bullet through Romano's brain.“We’ve apprehended the culprit.” Gabe reports and I nod, looking at him expectantly to give me the information I really wanted to hear. His mouth parts to speak his next words when they read mine. “She’s safe. If we had arrived a minute late, he might have escaped.”He states, stepping aside for me as I made a beeline down my hallway that was now littered with a few dead bodies. Some of them I don't recognize as my men, laid amongst the bodies. I'm sure the courtyard would have a few litters as well. To think they were able to disable my security alarm and quietly take out my men, only someone with inside information on how the system works would be able to do so and all my men were trained on that, not because I wanted that sort of information to be broad

ELIANAThe sound of ringing echoed in the dark emptiness of my mind. A sound that I've heard once before. The sound of gunshot.My mind stilled and I tried to pry my eyes open.
