62. STANDING UP

We finished the glass of wine in our hands and ran around the sea shore while giggling and holding unto each other. We needed no other definition anymore, it was clear what we are to each other now and to be honest, I still couldn’t believe that I had opened my heart again for Stanley.

I had sworn never to get involved with him anymore in my life but being the funny bitch life was, I just had to get paired with him again and since my pride won’t put food on my table, I had no choice but to carve in to the circumstances surrounding my situation.

“Do you want to sleep here or go back home?” he asked me as we settled down on the sand

“It wouldn’t be bad to listen to the gentle sound of the waves as the night passes” I answered with a chuckle and he took that as a yes.

The wind was becoming colder so we had no choice but to go back to the cabin and rest up for the night.
