63. RECONCILIATIONS

As soon as Bea carried the box out of the office and headed to the storage room, one of the guys from the construction department saw her heading there and rushed forward to caution her that she shouldn’t visit the room for that moment since construction had started.

On getting there, she was already in the room and dropped the box but her leg collided with one of the planks on the floor and others came crashing. Thankfully, his intervention was timely as he rushed to stop the falling planks.

“Get out right now” he yelled at her but she was frozen with horror as she shut her eyes tightly, waiting for her doom to come.

“Right now! Get out of the door” another round of yelling sounded through the room and this time around, she was sane enough to hear and rush out of the door.

“What do I do? How do I help you?” she panicked as she watched him struggling with the heavy planks

“Just push the bell by your left side” he groaned, the weight of the planks dawning on him
