CHAPTER 48

Lucian immediately went there and when he got to the door, he knocked. His father's voice echoed from the other side. He opened the door and went inside. His father was standing by the window, watching outside. He had his back on Lucian but he knew that Lucian was inside the room. Lucian waited by the door for a while and when his father didn't speak, he did.

"You sent for me father."

"Where have you been?"

"Roaming."

His father scoffed mockingly at his response.

"There is a problem."

He knew there was.

"What could that be father?"

"The Lycans. They want a war. They are going to rebel against me."

Lucian feigned ignorance and surprise.

"What shall we do father?"
