CHAPTER 49

Nora was nervous as she heard his footsteps carry on throughout the house. She didn't know what she would hear from him but the other part of her was expected to see what he had found. She sighed as she stood up slowly forn her bed and made her way outside. She was anticipating the sight of him which was something that she found to be quite strange.

This was the man that she hated or at least she thought she hated and yet there was that twisted part of her mind that craved his presence near her. She almost laughed at how pathetic it seemed. The fact that she so desperately wanted to have him close to her.

She made her way out of her room and huffed when she bumped into him. She stiffened as she looked up towards him and she found him staring at her coldly.

“So. Tell me.” She started. She watched as he took a step back, reducing their close proximity before revealing to her a satchel.
