33. A KING ON HIS KNEES
The king turned so pale I cried. I cried because I realized what I had just brought on myself. Everyone in that area gasped with their weeps getting even louder. My legs shook as if to buckled, Brum cursing over and over again behind me. I knew I did something stupid but I could not let them kill a pack member. As much as they hated me, I was the luna of the pack, I was a mother to all of them and I would not watch while any of my children got hurt. I would protect them to my death, that I what a luna does.
I was panicking but I would not take my decision back. My fear came back, so scared I thought I would faint.
