The next morning was a little tense around the mansion. Angelo and his siblings stayed awake and we stayed inside with them all until we were ready to leave. They were worried for us. Well, for me at least. I know that they don't really care about wolves. But I was their blood. So I knew that they were worried for me. Hardly any of them would leave my side for very long at a time but I have to say, it was nice to actually have family that cared about me. It was a really weird feeling. Tyler and the others stayed back while I was in the living room with Angelo, Elias, Charles, Finn, Naomi and Ruby. We were getting to know each other a whole lot better and trying to lighten the mood a bit and we were actually all mostly paying out on Angelo. They looked like they still resented him for what he did, but at the end of the day, they showed up when he needed them. So I guess there isn't as much animosity as they want everyone to believe. And he wasn't taking anything they said to heart.

We didn't get home until after sundown and we were covered in soot and dirt and blood and my arm was aching like hell from where that vampire bit me. And when we walked back into the courtyard of the mansion I was rubbing my right shoulder just thinking about the pain that I was in. Everyone had already gone to bed and they were all pretty drunk so now wasn't the right time to take them the photo. We would do it when they woke up but I was really worried about it. TYLER POV I sat outside with Tessa for a while but hearing her talk that strange language was something that was completely weirding me out. Every time she would create something new she would write it down immediately. I think she was creating her own spell book. Which I thought was a brilliant idea. She was experimenting and practicing so that she wouldn't go against the Shadow witch completely unprepared. "What's going on?" TESSA POV It took a week for all the warriors to arrive in the city and we arranged where and when to meet them in the woods outside the city. We all got prepared at the mansion and tensions were high. You could practically cut it with a knife. No one knew what was going to happen or who was going to come home. And the worry that I felt coming off of Tyler was palpable. I couldn't figure his emotions out at all. Or these glances that I saw him constantly exchanging with Aria. And the secret little mind links that them two had going on. I left my engagement ring in the nightstand at the mansion because it would break when I shifted and I didn't want anything to happen to it. ETHAN POV The battle was getting bloody. These leeches were waiting for us. So they were prepared. Several wolves were down because of wolfsbane darts and we needed to protect them before the vampires could get to them. We couldn't have the vampires feeding on them or even just biting them and turning them into hybrids. None of them wanted that. One tried to attack me from the side but i swung around and grabbed that vampires in my mouth and shook so fiercely that I ripped him to pieces. One of the caravans exploded in the background and I looked over to see Bella was being surrounded. I ran to her but one vampire got in the way of me and I couldn't get around him. He lunged at me and I tried to get my mouth around him but he held my top and bottom jaw. He was trying to pull them apart and break my jaw. And he was strong. TESSA POV I was pinned in the corner of the room and the wall by the string of electricity that had turned from white to red with her anger and I screamed so loud that I didn't know it was possible. The pain that I was feeling was indescribable. I managed to take one deep breath and I raised my hand towards the witch and I created a fireball that I turned to glass and shot it at her face at full speed. She let go of me while she was trying to get the glass out of her face and I fell to the ground. I slowly managed to get to my feet and Tyler was regaining consciousness. "Go help the wolves." I tell him. But I could tell that he was more concerned with me. But he knew that I needed to finish this so he ran to the wolves. He didn't know what the hell to do. I knew that he was still looking for signs of me turning evil. Of me getting addicted to the power.
