“Dad?”

The man, whom the caller mentioned, turned around and Eve almost slapped her head because of foolishness. Because instead of the man she thought it was, her father was there carrying Theo.

“Mommyyyy!” Theo shrieked excitedly as she flinched out of his grandfather’s arms and run towards his mother.

Eve stared down at her son who was hugging her legs. Then to her father who was now walking along with the school guard.

‘What are you even thinking, Eve Rizzo? Did you just thought that Lucas would come and see Theo?’

“You’re here. I was here to fetch Theo to a dinner but this guard stopped us. You’re not trying to take my grandson away from me, do you?”

Eve was chocked by her own self. She could not believe what she just heard. Her father sounded as if sulking. Thus, she laughed.

“How could I, dad? I think Theo loves you already. Isn’t it right, Theo?”

She looked down at her son who had been waiting to gain her attention. Theo nodded an
