SIXTY-NINE

NATHANIEL POV

I hear that ear piercing scream again followed closely by another loud howl, I am so glad that my father is still passed out from the first one. My mother is one strong werewolf.

I hear the lock and the door opened and from the hidden bunker emerges Angus and Leo. I hiss and growl as both my vampire and werewolf come together and agree that those two really need to die, but I know I am not enough yet to take on an Alpha and a Beta on my own.

I watch helpless as they re-lock the bunker door strip their clothes and shift into their wolves. I accidentally break part of the branch I am sitting on with how hard I am clenching my little fist. That is the only thing I hate about being so mature in the mind but so young in the body.

Unfortunately it wasn't until after Angus and Leo disappeared into the woods that Theodore and the guards arrived.
