CHAPTER 13

I jolted, checking the time. 7:05am...

who could that be?.I walked to the door, turning the locks and then opening it slowly.

I looked to see who it was. I was petrified almost immediately seeing Jake standing there with a package in his hand.

"Good morning, beautiful" he greeted.

It took me minutes to put myself together. I was obviously trembling and it was to his amazement. He opened the door, stepping into my apartment.

He looked around."You changed the arrangement."I closed the door, turning around to look at him.

"What?"

He turned to look at me."The way it was arranged before you moved in, you changed it."

My eyes skimmed over his body and it seems he just stepped out of the shower.

He was wearing a white T-shirt and checkered pajamas' trousers with flip flops on his feet.I could see his arms perfectly now and to my surprise, they were big.

He must be hitting the gym a dozen times because he looks buffed.
