I am getting discharged today and when I got a little bit better that Mark was speaking to me that I couldn’t hear him and he told me the doctor said my ears were affected in the accident that they are not sure if I can regain my hearing again.

I flash back to the several operations did for me to hear but still I couldn’t hear.

Mark and his fiancée Lisa came in. Lisa had flowers in her hand , she dropped it.

“ You will be fine” she said. I had to read her lips to know what she was saying then I nodded and Mark came to embrace me.

“ You will be fine again” he said. I nodded with me pushing back my tears.

We returned home , I can’t walk properly yet, I am still supporting myself with crochet, one crochet though while my dad was waiting for me in the house. When I got home , he came to me and embrace him.

I walk to my room and the memories of Sophie and I came rushing into my head. I had to leave the room.

I called the maid.
