CHAPTER 47 - Alpha Christopher Jackson
ALPHA CHRISTOPHER'S POV
I sit at my desk doing some paperwork when I look over and spot the last family photo I received from my sister-in-law. I haven't heard from my brother David or my sister-in-law Catherine in nearly 17 years. This means that I haven't seen either my niece or nephew in all those years. Now, James should nearly be ready to take over David's place as Alpha and I have wondered over the last few years if Skyler, my little rabbit, had found her mate yet.
Now, over the years, I have heard some rumours floating around that Catherine was killed in a rogue attack, leaving David to look after the pups. Now I don't know who true it is, but I have never been able to verify it. I have spies in a whole heap of different packs. Unfortunately, I could never get one into David's pack, especially after the rumoured report of Catherine's death.

ALPHA CHRISTOPHER I re-entered the Royal Blood Moon territory with permission as I was meeting with at least 2 out of the 3 Mason Alphas. I must find out exactly why the 3rd brother won't be there. I head into the packhouse making my way to the Alpha office. As I enter, I smile as I bump into James. This now gives me the greatest opportunity to find out more information about what happened with my brother. He looks at me in surprise. "Uncle Christopher?" "James... ALPHA CHRISTOPHER I knock and enter the Mason Alpha office. I am surprised to see that all 3 Mason Alpha's are there. I was only expecting 2 of them. There was, however, a difference in what was their rank. Alpha Elijah seems to be the one at the top now as he sits at the desk with Alpha Nathan on his right and Alpha Cole on his left. Something massive must have happened to change the order of power amongst them. I approach the desk and bow slightly out of respect before saying, "Alpha's, thank you for welcoming me into your pack." "No problem... How can we help you?" "Is Skyler joining us?" "No!" I was a little disappointed at this news, as I was hoping to see her reaction to whatever we were talking about. "Now, my brother Alpha David Jackson, what happened to him?" "Just as I said, he was killed in the process of attacking a pack and trying to take their Luna."

ALEXANDER'S POV Cole has been spending a lot of time in the barracks and in the training fields. I watch him as he moves around the recruits and smile. It is something that he used to love doing, but in his position as oldest of his brothers, his Alpha duties always came before anything else. Since he has come back, I have noticed that he misses those duties as he hasn't been able to do them. He, however, has been really helpful around here with the recruit training and keeping the security patrols up to date and always changing. As I had said to him when he questioned me after I had rescued Skyler from her father, I didn't like what he did to her, but he is still one of my Alpha's. So when he approached me and said he had found one of the spies I have been looking for, I couldn't, not believe him. I had laughed to myself when he said he was going to get Skyler to cancel the New Moon celebration. She has done it every new moon for the past 3 years.

ALEXANDER'S POV Much to Skyler's disappointment, I ended up having to tell all 3 of them what happened as they wanted to know why there were guards and patrols so close to the Alpha house and I was not going to lie to them. She was right. They became even more protective of her, and I became her personal bodyguard. They even gave me one of the small guest rooms in the Alpha house, so I was there if needed. Not that it bothered me as I still feel like I am making up for allowing the rogues to get their filthy hands on her and take her back to her father. It has been a few days. COLE'S POV I am sitting in the packhouse office with both Elijah and Nathan as we try to work out how someone could have put silver into Skyler's drinks. We ended up having everything in the Alpha house tested, thrown out and replaced. I look up at Elijah as he gets up from his desk and walks over to mine and asks, "Is there any possibility that it could be Alpha Jackson?" "Alexander has all patrols keeping an eye out for him, but if he is anything like his brother and from what Antonio was saying, he is even worse. He could have anyone breach our borders and enter the territory." Elijah goes to say something else but instead leans on my desk and holds his head. I do the same as a sharp pain shoots through mine. INTRUDER'S POV I was surprised when I got the call from Alpha Chris. He saved my life even after he knew what I was and why I had infiltrated his pack. He freed me from my master, gave me a little more training and then sent me on my way, saying, "I NOW OWN YOU!! I WILL UTILISE WHAT YOU KNOW AND WHAT I HAVE TAUGHT YOU UNTIL ONE DAY I WILL ASK FOR YOUR SERVICES FOR A VERY SPECIAL TARGET AND THAT WILL REPAY WHAT YOU OWE!" So, I went from one master to another. The only thing with Alpha Chris is that I do actually get a resemblance of freedom. I may not always agree with what he wants me to do, but if I ever refused, I would need to run and run far as he would kill me without a second thought. So once I complete this one I am finished with him and thank Goddess for that as he is starting to scare me even more than usual. I look over the file he sent me and then do a little investigating myself. I find where she is and what she does from one day to the next. I take note of the patrols
