Chapter 46 - New Moon Celebration
SKYLER'S POV
Once inside, I stand off to the side of the door and personally welcome everyone as they enter. It isn't long before some of the outside Alpha's start to arrive. After a while, I move from the door and over to one of the refreshment tables. I take a small glass of water as my stomach rolls a little.
I put the glass down and jump a little as 2 arms wrap around me from behind. I smile and relax as I feel warmth and butterflies skim over my skin. Nathan then whispers into my ear,
"Angel? Will you dance with me?"
I turn in his arms and nod. Nathan then leads me onto the dance floor, making me laugh as he spins me around. He then pulls me into his arms, and we dance around the dance floor. We continue to dance until at least 5 songs have passed before he allows me to stop and walks me back over to the refreshments table so I can have another glass of water.

COLE'S POV I can't believe Alexander was right. Skyler isn't the shy little wolf that I saved from the abuse of her father. ALPHA CHRISTOPHER I knock and enter the Mason Alpha office. I am surprised to see that all 3 Mason Alpha's are there. I was only expecting 2 of them. There was, however, a difference in what was their rank. Alpha Elijah seems to be the one at the top now as he sits at the desk with Alpha Nathan on his right and Alpha Cole on his left. Something massive must have happened to change the order of power amongst them. I approach the desk and bow slightly out of respect before saying, "Alpha's, thank you for welcoming me into your pack." "No problem... How can we help you?" "Is Skyler joining us?" "No!" I was a little disappointed at this news, as I was hoping to see her reaction to whatever we were talking about. "Now, my brother Alpha David Jackson, what happened to him?" "Just as I said, he was killed in the process of attacking a pack and trying to take their Luna."

ALEXANDER'S POV Cole has been spending a lot of time in the barracks and in the training fields. I watch him as he moves around the recruits and smile. It is something that he used to love doing, but in his position as oldest of his brothers, his Alpha duties always came before anything else. Since he has come back, I have noticed that he misses those duties as he hasn't been able to do them. He, however, has been really helpful around here with the recruit training and keeping the security patrols up to date and always changing. As I had said to him when he questioned me after I had rescued Skyler from her father, I didn't like what he did to her, but he is still one of my Alpha's. So when he approached me and said he had found one of the spies I have been looking for, I couldn't, not believe him. I had laughed to myself when he said he was going to get Skyler to cancel the New Moon celebration. She has done it every new moon for the past 3 years.

ALEXANDER'S POV Much to Skyler's disappointment, I ended up having to tell all 3 of them what happened as they wanted to know why there were guards and patrols so close to the Alpha house and I was not going to lie to them. She was right. They became even more protective of her, and I became her personal bodyguard. They even gave me one of the small guest rooms in the Alpha house, so I was there if needed. COLE'S POV I am sitting in the packhouse office with both Elijah and Nathan as we try to work out how someone could have put silver into Skyler's drinks. We ended up having everything in the Alpha house tested, thrown out and replaced.
