FORTY ONE

Mila held Ezra's hand tightly when she saw the crowd of journalists in front of her father's office. They all moved very quickly to greet her as she was about to get out of the car.

"Don’t be nervous. You just need to smile at them and answer some of their questions.”

“I feel like a dream. Suddenly I got things that I never knew existed and were mine. I really don't have any memories of this office.”

The place actually felt foreign to her. She had probably only stepped foot here three times. But she had always been a visitor, not an owner as she was now. And now she had to assert ownership of this company as her own so that no one else like Edward could take what was hers.

“You sure can. Think about the bright future you will have.”

“Tsk, you have a good way of encouraging me, hmm?”

Ezra just smirked. "Let's go. The Louises would pee their pants seeing this.”
