FORTY TWO

Ezra sat in the corner of Mila's treatment room. His elbows resting on his thighs, his head bowed to the floor. In front of him, Mila was lying weak. The IV line stuck in the back of her hand again. Her belly protruding beneath the hospital gown moved constantly to Mila's regular breathing. Ezra didn't understand why he was so concerned seeing Mila's condition like that. This shouldn't have to happen. But unfortunately this has to happen to Mila. He was not vigilant and carefully secured the area around Mila’s office. Edward's men manage to infiltrate the paparazzi without anyone noticing and try to shoot Mila.

Mila has almost died twice and has been hospitalized. And it's always been done by those damn Louises. He was getting impatient to finish them off as soon as possible. He wanted to immediately expose his identity in front of those damn Louises, then laugh at them for their stupidity all along. They have actually been caught up in the game.
