CHAPTER 105 AUTHOR'S POV Darkness lightened up as the moon rose higher and higher into the sky, and its brilliance descended upon the village below as if there were no problems at all. Owls hooted, insects chirped, and birds sang in the night sky. There was a distinct musical composition that resulted from the sounds, which people would either find irritating or agreeable to the ears. It wasn't just that, though. Chapter 107 JOSHUA'S POV “Ugh…” I let out a cry of agony. My chest, along with the rest of my body, was in such excruciating pain that it seemed like I was on fire. Sera had given me something, but she did not disclose the name of the substance; however, it was poisonous. My intestines felt as if they were being gnawed on by a million ants, in addition to the sensation that I was on fire myself.
