Darkness lightened up as the moon rose higher and higher into the sky, and its brilliance descended upon the village below as if there were no problems at all.

Owls hooted, insects chirped, and birds sang in the night sky. There was a distinct musical composition that resulted from the sounds, which people would either find irritating or agreeable to the ears.

It wasn't just that, though. The villagers gradually emerged from their condition of being puppets, staring at their walls in a state of amazement and wondering what they had been doing when they were in this state.

Some of them were overcome with feelings of guilt as they recalled the events that had transpired over the preceding few days. All of these were observed by the pairs of icy blue eyes that were standing in the shadows and watching them with a triumphant smirk on their faces.
