“So you started working here when you were just twelve years old?” I asked Terry who nodded in response. After Joshua left earlier this morning, I came out to train but Terry was already there.

After some hours, we decided to rest for a bit and Terry told me of how he came to work in the mansion.

“Then it's been a very long time, but, why are you still stuck being a mere guard? From your skills, I can see that you're good enough to be promoted or something… except people here see more than what I see?” I leaned back as Terry shook his head gently.

“I chose to stay this way. I had gotten a chance of promotion years before now but I have friends that I don't want to leave behind, silly right?
