Faith rushed out of her bathroom as she heard her phone ringing, thinking it could be her boss. He had been acting strange lately, ever since the reporters left. He had been giving her cold shoulders. He no longer called her to run errands for him and he had not left the house either, but she knew he was alive and well. He even stopped picking her calls, only calling her when she needed her to bring wines from the cellar. But of course, she did not mind since she was used to that. That was who he was even if he had started melting his stone heart. She really wished she could understand why he was turning hot at one point and cold at another.
