Maya's pov

As I walked away from Micah about to turn to my next class. I felt Micah's hands on mine and he spun me back.

"Why are you doing this, Maya?" He asked.

His amused expression just a minute again morphing into a painful expression.

"Because you are a terrible person, Micah, that's why." I said deadpanned

"No, I am not!" He argued, his eyes widening in protest.

"Yes you are. You literally got Daniel suspended from school and got him in trouble with his parents!" I said in frustration.

"No, he got himself suspended from school. He was the one who pounced on me," he gesticulated.

"And you fought with him and almost broke my neck but here you are, very much unsuspended while Daniel is both suspended."

"Oh, come on, that's not my fault."

"Yes, it's the fault of you being a privileged brat, do better, Micah. Maybe I'd look your way then but with the way you are acting now? I want nothing to do with you."
