They were finally getting along. Thank goodness! Perfect food, drinks, dessert! I was in heaven and a bit tipsy.
Noah had stopped treating me like his little girl submissive and more like his coworker. We talked shop and came up with some great ideas. I doubt any of us will remember them but this was making for great team bonding. Which we very much needed with this upcoming pitch to the board of directors.

Four hours had passed in a blink of an eye. There was an energy in the air that I couldn't quite place but it had me on edge in a good way.

Noah checked us into a king sized suite on the top floor. I kept my head down even in the elevator. I was lucky the bellhop was coming with us or I think my punishment would have started there.
