Chapter 4.2

"I-I'm just feeling thirsty," I cursed to myself as I stuttered. I was restless and almost let go of the glass I was holding. He just stared at me intently. My body hair stood at the thought. He just stood there and looked at me. Honestly, it's awkward.

“Staring is rude,” His emotionless mumbled.

I stepped back and looked out the window, "You -- why aren't you sleeping yet? Is there a problem in your room?"

He sniffed and stared at me with relief. Seems like he can't believe my question.

"I'm fine. There's nothing wrong," he said in an intense tongue.

We were both surprised because I held his hand when I reached for the faucet to wash the glass I used. He immediately let go of my hand like I have some kind of disease. I didn't realize that he was coming.

"Are you hungry?" I chew my lower lip intensified because of my question. He just drank and didn’t eat so he probably wasn’t hungry! I bit my lip to calm myself. My heart pounded.

I dared to look at him directly, "I-I'm sorry ..." I whispered.

It was obvious from his expression that he didn't like what I said, that it had a deeper meaning.

"You pick someone else over me, don't ever come back. I won't welcome you anyway. It's not because I treat you well, we're okay." His voice was intense that made me feel a strangely familiar feeling.

"Can we talk ..." But he just shrugged and didn't respond to me. It turned around and quickly left in front of me.

“Eventually, I was sad.” I joked to myself.

I'm heading straight to the bedroom.

I woke up early but it looks like they were earlier because I caught them having coffee. Breakfast is also served. I didn't sleep well last night. I have been thinking of Aristotle.

"I heard Marinduque has the most loyal people, I just don't know which part," said Damian while eating. I caught sight of Aristotle sipping coffee while leaning against the wall.

Sin giggled, "Sta. Cruz area. It's too cute to be shy," he said and caught my eye then winked.

I grimaced at him. It's too early to ruin my day.

"How's your sleep, feeling better?" He asked as I walked closer to the table. He smiled showing his perfect, beautiful white teeth. Okay, Sin's smile is magnificent that makes him gorgeous. So more and more women are stumbling here. But I won’t admit that to him.

I heard Aristotle's loud squeal so we all looked at him.

Sin laughed. It's annoying that he laughs like he's always being told something.

"Are you alright, Ares?" Nieva commented with sarcasm in her voice.

Celestina blinked, "Bitter?" As she glances at her cup after she sipped. "I mean the coffee."

Aristotle just raised an eyebrow at them and didn’t scold the antics.

"Have you had breakfast yet?" it suddenly slipped out of my mouth.

Everyone sighed because of what I said. Aristotle's lip was slightly open.

"I'm not hungry." He lets out awfully.

Instead of being annoyed I just smiled sparingly. I just nodded in embarrassment especially when Sin and Damian laughed as if they were in hell.

"More points in the sky," Sin laughed.

I felt a hand touch my back. I veered around to find out about Alejandro as he pulled out of the chair for me. Coffee and vegetable fried rice with egg are ready in front of me. He smiled at me.

"Do you have anything else you want to eat? I'll cook," Alejandro whispered.

To my surprise, the insane Sin laughed, followed by Damian's cracked up.

"Dude, you're whipped. More likely a boyfriend!"

The two were hit by a high-five that Alejandro just laughed at. God! Does he know nothing but to laugh? I just stared at them both.

Celestina raised her hand as did Nieva, "Bagoong!" said the two at the same time.

Alejandro looked at me. Awaiting my answer.

"I crave for bagoong," I confessed. It's a Filipino dish.

"With love!" Sin and Damian teased Alejandro. He just raised his middle finger in response.

"You might assassinate because of loving too much," Damian laughed a second time.

I feel like they agree with me now. Of course, that's possible. Especially,  Aristotle ks here. To my surprise, Aristotle suddenly stood up and glared at the boys. Sin and Damian smiled as they waited for what Aristotle would do. I shrugged before immediately evading his eyes. He breathes out before speaking.

"Just gonna get some fresh air," he formally said goodbye and went straight out.

"What is the cure for jealousy?"

I frowned and immediately took off my two slippers and threw them at the two of them who were still laughing like a devil.

"Happy?" my sarcastic question to them.

They nodded once more. Jerks!

"The mosquito witnessed what happened last night," Sin said while singing.

My eyes drifted to Sin. He laughed seeing my eyes in shock.

He saw us last night! Damn it! I lowered my head. I can my face heated like a tomato.

"At first it was really fun, at the end that the branch broke," Sin said as he happily sipped his coffee.

"I will love you. Non-stop, lods."
