Chapter Three

My question was answered when the door opened and the tall, brown-skinned, and most of all beautiful-eyed man immediately opened the door. His eyes melting my sleeping feelings for years. What am I saying? Its cheesy! I shook my head when I first looked into the eyes of the man staring at me now. His face darkened as he stares at me. His eye trailed me from head to toe. He twitched his head and his mouth tightened when he saw me staring at him. Six years had passed almost nothing has changed his appearance. I have a suspicion that he's here in the Philippines but I know he won't last long.

"Ares, buddy!" Sin's shout in a very happy tone.

He was so happy that he seemed to have won the lottery, this malicious guy will never stop teasing me again. Hope his laughter choke him to death, I thought as I rolled my eyes. Aristotle tilted his head and bit his lip before avoiding glancing at me. He just fold his arms and smile at Sin. I bit my lower lip when my heart pounded, an abnormal beating. My knee starting to jelly. This man still has the same effect on me. I felt butterflies in my stomach are thrilled because their boss is in front of me. Sin walked over to the companion and smiled at me sweetly. I don’t need his smile for my situation. A real evildoer, an Almonte!

"You're still gorgeous even if you're angry every day!" He groaned annoyingly.

"That will be bad for your health," he laughed.

I looked at him sharply even though he couldn't see it. I knew it! Nothing makes this man good in our lives. Grr. It was only then when Sin's 'friend' looked up and our eyes met. His eyes darted at me in serious manner. The angered inside him cannot hide. I know. I could see it in his eyes, the burning resentment. I bit my lower lip. He's handsome even he's this angry. I look away trying not to add fuel to the fire.

"Do I still need to introduce you to each other?" Sin asked confusedly with a smile. I rolled my eyes at him, this time he can see it.

You son of the devil, Sin! Can't he just erase that stupid smile playing with his lips? His enjoying our situation! Does he have nothing else to do but smile and tease me? I held out my hand. But I wiped it a few more times on the back of my shorts to make sure it wasn't wet with sweat.

"I'm Robin Serrano. N-nice to see you," I stammered. He looked at my hand which was still slightly trembling. I slightly panicked.

"Aristotle Lecaroz," he introduced himself before reaching for my hand. It was as if electricity was flowing quickly, I let go of his hand as soon as possible.

He raised an eyebrow for what I've done. My heart pounded with excitement. I refrained from biting my lip. The lingering feelings inside me awaken by the impact of the electricity I felt a while ago.

"Nice to meet you," Aristotle told me with a streak of sarcasm.

I hold my breath for a couple of seconds. I look like a fool who completely avoids looking. Why is he here anyway? He wasn’t supposed to be here. I know he’s mad for what I had done six years ago.

Aristotle Lecaroz. I am still waiting for you even though there is no guarantee that you will return. My very good friend Sin whispered something that I had always wanted to share with Aristotle.

"He's staying with us for tonight, is it okay? We have a work tomorrow." Sin grinned and winked at me.

"You've already decided. I can't do anything about it." I commented.

I was watching Aristotle but plainly to hide my emotions for a moment. He’s wearing his signature v-neck white shirt that shows his masculine body. He paired it with khaki Taslan shorts and white sneakers. I can smell his perfume from the distance. The scent I love years ago! I jumped when he suddenly turned his gaze to me. I immediately averted my eyes because he might catch that I lusted after him in my mind.

I swallowed helplessly, "I m-mean if it's okay with him."

Why does my voice sound like a baby ?! I was already pinching myself on my back.

Sin once again rebuked Aristotle, "If it's okay with you..." Sin smirked.

My eyes rolled at what he said. I can not believe it. I mean, maybe they work tomorrow is very important and it's close to here so they prefer to stay

"I would love to," Aristotle response.

I don’t want to assumed! He's angry because of what have I done. Suddenly my heart ached at the thought that he was still angry with me. Of course, he's still angry and that won't just go away until he sees me bleed.

"You're… here," He stared at me intently as if he still couldn't believe that I was here in front of him.

I nodded. "I just arrived this morning."

"Good." He smirked.

"H-ha?" I was confused by the question of his manner.

Sin laughed, "You two look together."

Sin! I scream in my mind. I almost lost my poise and composure because of this sinner. I just stared at him and bit my lip so hard. How dare you make fun of my situation, Sin! I know, you know we both have a past and it wasn't good.

Aristotle didn’t react so I did the same. I was so thankful that the rest of our friends came out and approached me and I focused my attention to them. There was no denying the shock in their eyes. Who doesn't! Aristotle Lecaroz is here. In front of me. My ex-fiancee! They could not speak as if dumbfounded. They look at me in unison.

Awkward!

Sin laughed as he broke the silence. I bit my lip so hard, again.

"Did you miss each other?" it's a strange question.

"Jerk." Nieva hissed.

“Aww! Celestina take off your hands of my hair. Damn it! ” Celestina could no longer hold back and it was easy to approach Sin to grasp it.

Serve him right! He pulled it hard until she was satisfied. Sin gave Celestina a disastrous look while still holding his hair with a frown. I glanced at Aristotle and saw that he was just watching what was happening. He must have felt me looking at him. He raised his eyebrows in a manly manner. My smile faded and I twisted because of his sharp stare at me.

I cleared my throat, “Ahm,” and look away.

I just thought ... do you know I'm still waiting for you? Haha. What a joke, Robin.

"Let's go inside," I faked a laugh. Trying to calm my inside. But I failed.

Every day I think about what if we don't give up? What if I don't leave? What if we choose each other once more? What if I have better options? What if... Maybe, we are happy, we still are. I watch Aristotle in my peripheral vision as he stands straight. His shoulders widened.

Alejandro approached me, "You okay?" he asked.

I faked a smile, “Of course... He moved on.”

"S-so I am," I added.

Minus points in heaven again. He gave me a crooked smile as a response. He no longer spoke and just walked side by side. I took a deep breath and pretended it was okay.

When I turned back to Celestina and Nieva who were fighting while Sin was working together I immediately saw Aristotle's evil look again on Alexander's hand that was slightly attached to my wrist. My forehead furrowed as it stared at me. What was that? I asked myself.

"Is he jealous?" Alejandro whispers. I laughed at what he said.

"Even a million years would flew it will never happen." I said full of bitterness in my throat.

I turned my gaze to Sin and saw a smile playing on his lips. Sin  switched at Aristotle's place. I glared at him. Our eyes met Aristotle's. I saw how serious his gaze was on me. I averted my gaze and pout. What happened to him after six long years? He’s still angry I know but he just doesn’t want to show that in front of my friends. He matured. Far from the man I had known before. Possessive and selfish. I can still vividly remember how he holds my hands in public showing other people I’m his. I was engulfed in my thoughts. My knees were shaking with nervousness so I almost fell to my knees when I step near the door. That was when I felt a hand suddenly wrapped around my waist. I would have thanked Alejandro, to see that he was not the one who supported me. It was as if I had been drenched in water and blanked. I frowned and blinked a few times to make sure I wasn't just deluding myself as to who was holding me. I even heard Sin whistling and Celestina giggling. I close my eyes in embarrassment when Aristotle lets go of my waist.

"T-thank you," I heard myself spoke. My breathe became slower.

I even used both of my hands to push Aristotle's chest but I knew I didn't do anything too hard.

"Careful…" he whispered close to my ear then started walking. He went to Lola Sita who's sitting in her rocking chair and kissed her right hand as a sign of respect.

A-what? Why is he acting like this? Thank god, Kaja and Grunt chose to stay with Alkaid’s parents! If not, I going crazy!
