Lyall held Leanda’s hands, “Be mine Leanda!”

“What!” Leanda exclaimed, her heart raced.

“I think you are what I have been looking for. Will you be mine Leanda?” He asked.

Leanda could only stare at him, she couldn’t say a word, and even when she wanted to talk, her words choke up in her throat.

She wasn’t sure of what to do or say, she had only met this man a day ago, and now he was asking her to be his. Although, she knew she felt a spark between them since they’ve met, but she felt like it was just because of the emotional turmoil she was going through at that moment.

Leanda gently pushed his hands away and stood up, “I..I’m sorry,” she murmured and turned to the door, “Thanks for the food,” she added and stepped out of the room.
