Nathan and Brixlee were back at the office. So much had happened on their trip to New York and none of them could ever get over it. Again, Brixlee had thought Nathan had no memory of the kiss they shared and their barely avoided make out session because he never for once asked her about that night. She felt it was for the better, things would have gotten weird if he had remembered.

As Brixlee walked into the office that morning, she was happy to be finally back to that familiar environment. Nathan wasn’t yet at work but Tyler was seated on an empty chair with his head bowed.

Brixlee smirked, thinking it was one of his many tricks to avoid her again. Tyler didn’t say a word as Brixlee took her seat and she was a bit worried. The Tyler she knew would have said dozens before she even found her seat.
