I’d soon found out from Eros later that night that not long after my departure two years ago, my dad had moved to the South and rejoined the Erebus pack. I’d long figured that once the Erebus, especially Alpha Leonidas learned that my dad hadn’t actually killed my mother, he would be reinstated back to his Beta position. But this also meant that Eros’s dad was no longer the Beta. I wasn’t sure how I felt about that. Eros had told me that he didn’t care but I could tell from the way he’d shrugged his shoulder that he actually did.
