Chapter 7

JASMINE'S POV

I wake up to the sound of a moving truck and it's probably our neighbours moving as I lazily drag myself out of bed. I feel a sharp pain in my lower abdomen causing me to clutch my stomach and groan in discomfort.I make my way into the bathroom as I stare at my reflection in the mirror and to be honest I look like utter and complete shit.

My hair looks like a bird's nest,my eyes have bugs underneath and my skin is surprisingly pale. I am in the middle of brushing my teeth when another wave of pain hits me causing me to almost loose my balance as I grip the sink with all my strength.

I count the number of weeks in my head when it hits me that my periods are indeed around the corner and this would explain the death like cramps taking over my body. I take in deep shallow breaths undressing and getting into the bathroom and I am actually right when I notice red dots of blood in the middle of my shower.
