“Remember you have to eat so you can take your drugs. I brought your food for you so sit down and eat first before we go anywhere”. I told him as I brought out the mini flask where I had put his food from my bag and handed it to him.

He obeyed and sat down and started eating, much to my surprise. This husband of mine is really full of surprises.

After he was done eating, I gave him his drugs which he took then we left his office. On our way out, his secretary was giving me a death glare and I couldn't understand the reason.

I felt like going over to her table and plucking out those eyes of hers out of her socket but I refrained from that and eyed her instead.

And as if Ares understood what was going on, he put his arm around my waist and suddenly placed a peck on my cheek and I smiled.

The lady later looked away with a pained expression on her face and continued typing on her computer.
