Chapter 31: Aftercare

Regina’s P.O.V

“Ouch! Be gentle, will you?”

I raised my eyebrows at the man who didn’t have any problem having sex on the cold, hardwood floor with two bullet holes on his shoulder; but now wants me to be ‘gentle’ while I scrub his back in the shower?

Okay…I admit…there might be more than a few scratches from my nails on his back now, but I had more hickies all over my chest to match those scratches! It serves him just right!

But I obeyed his demands nonetheless and wiped his back gently, reminding myself to be careful of the bullet wounds. They were still raw and healing and it was going to take some time before he could remove those patches from his skin that prevented water to enter the wounds and infect them further.

“So…how was your day?” I asked nonchalantly.
