ALESSANDRO’S POV

Leaving chief’s office without smashing the head of one of his annoying female staff was probably one of the hardest things in my life.

Kill her or I die. That was chief’s verdict and he would never change his mind. Chief’s pride was poisonous. He would rather have an innocent person killed than have his order be disobeyed.

Now it was clear to me, chief cares about no man. He only cared about the killings I do for him. He could discard even the person people thinks as the most important person in his life without a second thought.

And for a spilt moment I wondered what life, loyalty really is all about.

“Isabella…” I mumbled and sighed again.

Why isn’t her god helping her anymore...?

I drove to a restaurant to grab a meal.

Talk about the devil. I bumped into Isabella as I held open the door to walk in. she was surprised to see me. I could see the hint of fear in her eyes the moment she saw it was me and wanted to flee. I wonder if she already knew I was trying to kill
