The college hallway buzzed with the energy of a thousand stories, and as I made my way to the first lecture, I couldn't shake off the echo of footsteps around me.

Lev's familiar face emerged in the lecture hall, and as he approached, a warm smile lit up his features.

"Morning, Zee," he greeted, his eyes catching mine.

"Hey, Lev," I replied, attempting to mirror his cheerfulness. As we found seats together, his words cut through the air with a compliment that painted a blush on my cheeks. "You look beautiful today," he said, and his charming smile felt like a gentle breeze after a storm.

I met his sand brown eyes with my own before I thanked him, "Thank you, Lev."
