ELLIE

It almost felt like I was about to have a brand new start as I was waking up the next day. I had to admit it was weird waking up next to Aiden— weird but great. Who wouldn't want to wake up to that charming pair of eyes that could lighten up any heart with just a glance?

He was still asleep when I woke up. Had he forgotten that we still had school that day? He was usually up, shooting at the hoop by that time of the day, but he had sacrificed it all to be there with me. That made me feel loved in a way— a feeling I had been estranged from for a long while.
