ELLIE

I woke up after a while after I had taken the medications and freshened up. I had missed that day at school and I was quite sure that I was left all alone in the house. Aiden surely wouldn't miss school or practice for anything at all.

Jasmine was bound to be worried sick about me, as she had called me a lot of times and I hadn't picked up at all. I just wasn't in the mood to take any calls at that time.

I didn't know what it was about that moment that had me desiring to be alone with either the right person or all alone completely.

But then, there was no way to tell who that right person was exactly. I was confused and I didn't know just when that unbearable uncertainty would come to an end. A part of me believed that it was all part of the repercussions of the poisoned booze that the dealer had given me.

I still couldn't believe that I had been so close to being victimized. It was the most uncomfortable thought, having to imagine myself getting plowed by that bastard. It
