Chapter Fifty Two

Kalyani let out a sigh as she went through the pictures on her laptop of her and Sarita. There were pictures of both of them as little girls, teenagers and now young adults. She'd never imagined that her best friend in the whole world and her cousin would go missing without a trace.

If only she'd asked them where they'd intended to go for their date, maybe she'd have been able to give the police information about their possible whereabouts but even if she'd asked, she was sure Vikrant wouldn't have said a word.

She hoped that no harm would come to them and Vikrant would keep himself and Sarita safe. The boy had mad martial arts skills so she wasn't too worried that he'd be beaten up and left for dead. Her bedroom door opened and her older sister Samishka walked in, carrying a tray containing food which made Kaly groan.

"I'm not hungry." She stated.

"That's what you said two days ago." Samishka dropped the tray on the bed. "It's day four and counting."
