Chapter 31: The First Marriage Fight

Daniel’s POV

“Do not talk to me...”

The pillow hit me in the face when I opened the door, which was a surprise. Russell was about to close the door, but I stopped her by standing in front. When I saw Russell’s eyes were red and puffy, I frowned. She cried a lot, and I felt a sudden pain. She turned her back on me and stumbled back to the bed to lie down. She covered her body with a blanket.

“I’d rather not have you here. Go away.” Russell said, irritated.

“Let’s talk, babe...” I said.

“Do you not hear me? Go away. I’d rather not see you.”

I took a deep breath and tried to settle myself down. I didn’t say anything and just turned my back on her after I put the pillow on the bed.
