My eyes flickered open slowly, but I shut them back because of the mild pain I felt in my head. After a few seconds of trying to calm my headache, I finally opened them, and a low breathy sigh escaped my mouth. Everything about me seemed foggy; my mind seemed to be numb.

"Hey, princess," came the familiar voice.

The familiarity of the voice made my heart skip a beat before I slowly turned to see who it was. "Professor?" I called in a whisper, and he gave me that dazzling smile of his that made my insides turn to mush.
