Alexander had no idea why he was quite nervous as he drove in the direction of Arianna's apartment. He had dated dozens of women in his lifetime but this was the first time he was actually picking up a woman to go on a date. Then, he didn't have the time to pamper anyone so his ex-lovers usually found their way to the venue. The most generous Alex had done was to get someone to pick them up and bring them to the venue.
But with Arianna, everything was different. He had no idea why but he wanted to impress her and that was why he was trying to make tonight perfect by all means.

Arianna had expected the ride to the venue to be awkward but it turned out to be the opposite. Alexander was quite a good conversationalist. He kept her involved in random conversations and to her surprise, he made her laugh a couple of times. She got to know that he was quite a funny person. Seeing that she was almost out of breath, Alex teased her lower lip for a couple of seconds before reluctantly pulling away from the kiss. Alexander Clay was seated on the tiled bathroom floor with his back resting against the cabinet. He was shirtless and was putting on a pajamas trouser which was soaked with blood. The left knee of the trouser was ripped open. It was obvious that the blood came from the knee. Stains of blood could also be seen on Alexander's chest and stomach; his hands were not left out too.With tears rolling down from her cheeks, Arianna dashed to where Alex was and crouched beside him."Alex?" She panicked as she cupped his face in her shaky hands. His eyes were closed and she could see the stained tears on his face.
