Chapter 17

Nina POV:

"Nina it's been 3 days and you're still here," my dad says barging into my room. I stop tickling Thalia and I turn to him with a sigh. Her giggles die alongside the happiness in the atmosphere

"I know Dad I'm sorry I'm on it," I say and he scowls. I continue to play with Thalia and my dad speaks again

"No I'm on it now," he says and I panic. When my dad says his on it it's never a good sign in fact the last time he was on it my professor and half the guys in my class were found at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean because he heard a rumor that I was sleeping with them

"Dad no it's fine I'm literally waiting for the agent to get back to me," I say and he shakes his head shoving his hands into his pocket

"Cancel them and come downstairs in the next-" he cuts himself off by looking at my crop top and shorts with distaste "- 45 minutes," he says and then abruptly turns around. He slams my door shut and I sigh. Turning back to Thalia she has her hands in her mouth looking confuse
