Chapter 19 Orc Cave

Along the way, I have to separate myself from the horse that I borrowed to get out of the gate. It’s not because I could not control it, but because the animal refuses to go back deeper in the woods. It probably remembers its terrifying experience in this area. I can’t blame it for its reaction. Even I would probably be traumatized.

I left the horse midway and started to continue on foot. Tracking down where they have been is pretty easy with the help of my wolf. I have been hanging out with them for quite a while now and have successfully memorized their scent, which is pretty lucky.

I managed to encounter two orcs along the way, which I had to kill quickly before they could yell out and warn the other orcs. It was difficult, considering that it was my first time fighting the orcs on two feet. Usually, I would be in my wolf form when fighting. It is more comfortable for me that way since I am faster and more powerful. More than that, all of my senses were heightened.
