Chapter 3

Aurora Emily Estrella P.O.V 

"What is the meaning of this, Aurora?!" I was surprised by what appeared to me when I entered the house. I almost ran out of blood when I saw what Mommy was holding. I just cursed inside. At this time I couldn't even move from where I was standing. "Answer me, Aurora! Are you pregnant?!" Yes, she was seen holding the pregnancy test I used last month. I can't blame it on one of my friends because she's not stupid enough to believe that would be my reason, after all, they're all lawyers here.

"I'm sorry, Mom." That was my only answer and my tears began to flow. I just bowed down because I was ashamed for them to see me cry. I don't seem to have anything to show them anymore.

I heard how my Mother walked towards me and I did not expect to receive a couple of slaps from her. She wasn't even satisfied and she slapped me again. I didn't do anything anymore because I know that it was all my fault, I will accept all her anger towards me.

"You are such a disgrace in this family! You gave us nothing else but shame!"

"Mom, it's okay." Ate Amber suddenly hugged me. That's when I felt the weakness of my legs, fortunately Ate was there, she was the one supporting me.

"No! Your sister is a flirt! Tell me, who is the father of that child? Who?!" I just hugged my sister so tightly, I just shook my head and hugged my her even tighter.

"Mom, please, calm down."

"Who is the father, Aurora?" Daddy asked modestly, which scared me even more because I knew he was angry with that voice of his. The tone of his voice was very cold. I'm afraid to say that Reagan is the father because like I said, they consider the Velasco family to be enemies, so I don't really know what to do anymore.

"Are you going to answer or do you want me to send someone just to find the one who got you pregnant?"

"It's Reagan." I answered then closed my eyes tightly. Tonight is really the end of me.

"Reagan Velasco? Seriously?" Kuya Ivan, who had been silent and watching the drama happening in this family, asked with a smile. I didn't even answer because I know that they knew about his family.

"You're really stupid! You're going to choose the name of someone who will cause you misfortune, another Velasco! You don't really think, you're really a disgrace to this family! I can't accept that child! Abort that, because I don't want that to grow up with this family!"

"Ma! Why abort?! It's not right to do that!"

"And what Amber? Raise that unfortunate child in this household?! It would be good if you two were married, maybe I would accept that! But this one is really stupid, you really fit for that one Velasco what? Both stupid! Both have no brains!"

I didn't really do anything but cry and cry. I really expected that Mommy would react like this and I really expected that she would tell me to abort this child but I am happy because I have Ate Amber by my side.

"No Ma, maybe that Velasco is responsible for him. Right, Aurora?" I couldn't answer anymore because Mama cut me off so I just bowed down.

"What else do you expect from a Velasco, Amber? Of course that's not a responsibility because he's an Estrella! I don't want him to see what you look like in this house, you understand me? If you still want to stay in this house, you should abort the that child because I will never accept that in this family. That's why, you go to the Velasco family, you're better suited to that family. Both are stupid and brainless. There's nothing else to do but to be stupid in this society." That was the last thing she said then she turned her back on us, Daddy just stared at me. Kuya Ivan and I just stared at him as if he was making me look like a real disgrace to the world. this family before he turned and left.

"Sister, I don't know what to do. Please, help me." I am begging my sister. She hugged me tightly and rubbed my back. But my tears really couldn't stop. Even I was getting tired but they seemed to tirelessly drip.

"Don't worry, okay? I'm just here, Mommy will calm down. For now, just stay at my Condo and tell me everything that happened, okay?" I nodded at her then forced myself to stay. "Stop crying, that's bad for you and your baby. I still can't believe you're carrying something now."\

"I'm sorry, Sister."

"What's wrong with you, you don't have anything to apologize for, okay? Let's just leave Mommy alone, that will calm down. And don't ever try to abort that child, you understand me? I'll kill you myself. " I laughed softly at what she said.

"I never thought of doing that Sister. I can't fight my conscience." I answered then smiled at her.

"It's good, it's good and you're still in the right frame of mind. For now, you need to rest. Have you had a checkup? Have you seen a doctor yet?" I shook my head at her question. She tweaked me but only weakly.

"Get some rest, let's move to my condo tomorrow. Then we'll get you check up."

"Thank you so much, Sister."

"Don't mention it."

I somehow calmed down when they all left, I didn't know what I was going to do before, but I knew that maybe this would be the end of my life here in this house, maybe this child was my escape to get out of the house, I am really thankful that I have a sister to help me.
