We left the house quickly, Brooke, Kalina and Jenna were with me, after all the aversion that Peta was demonstrating to Alice, I would not trust leaving any of them behind.

"I didn’t understand why he was acting like this, they seemed so united when they came to get me, the two fought Hades and she suffered so much when he was being tortured, almost looking like it was her." Jenna confided, but the truth is none of us understood how that was happening.

"And he did it to hurt her, just as he killed Peta just to distract us, he uses people without any shame."

I didn’t know where we could go, we didn’t have any resources, Quanah gave me the key to the truck and some money, but we needed to locate Alice in a hurry.

"Maybe bringing him back was a mistake." Brooke muttered.

I was starting to think that too, but I was trying to stay focused and remember who he was, who he was since I got here.

"Alice needs us now. Let’s focus on that."
