Chapter XV

"Go to sleep, girl. I’ll stay here and make sure nothing happens to you." Peta got up and went to the door. "Rest, your day was full."

I didn’t answer anything, I just lay down and got under the sheets. It would be difficult to sleep there, my cut had stopped hurting, but my thoughts were not silent. I’ve relived every second of my day since I decided to leave Blanca’s house.

I turned around, I did not want to remember those horrible things, it just made my mood even worse. It was not pleasant to remember how much they hated me and wanted me dead, not only me, but my son too.
