Little ones

Natalia's POV

The little children came out of their classrooms and rushed to hug me. They rushed at me, giggling and chattering, and I tried my best not to fall down. I crouched to their level, hugging as many of them as I could.

"We missed you sister Natalia." Little Cassie said to me, and I smiled, ruffling her hair. They had all decided one day that I was their big sister, and it warmed my heart that they thought of me as such. I had always loved and enjoyed their presence.

"I miss you too, Cassie. You have grown so tall."

She placed her hand on top of her head, trying to measure her height and I chuckled.

"Why have you not been coming to visit us, sister Nat?" Four year old Ashton asked, concern showing in his voice. "Were you unwell?"

I nodded. "I was. But I am all better now."

I looked back at Aaron who was leaning by his car, watching me, and they followed my gaze. Their chatters and giggles stopped immediately.

"This is the new Alpha. Alpha Aaron." I introduced.
