I thought I had seen enough drama when I heard what happened with Landon and his brother, and then this breakfast. I didn't prepare myself for meeting these people.

I didn't hate my parents. In fact, I loved them, just that they were pissing me off. They should know by now that I was not interested in getting with whomever they wanted for me.

The door opened and my mom stepped and ran towards me. She hugged me, before cupping my face, her eyes emotional.

"I have missed you so much."

She watched me a little, before turning to Landon. She smiled at him softly.

"I am sorry for the way our first encounter went. I was just trying to protect my daughter."
