Landon's POV

I stayed with my mate until my father was back home, and in the Alpha's office, before I went to see him. The moment I left her presence, the anger I had been trying to suppress rose in my chest. I could ignore Logan, I had been doing that even though he had been pushing me. But him crossing my mate was something I could not take.

My father looked up at me, surprise in his eyes. He was probably shocked by my mood and my Alpha aura was everywhere.

"Is there a problem?" He asked, his eyes probing deep, wanting to understand my rage.

"You are to vacate this office before tomorrow." I stated, staring at him. I meant to be more polite, but it came out more authoritative than I intended. Maybe it was the anger.

His eyes widened and he leaned forward. "What do you mean?" There was a deep frown on his face, but I wasn't going to let that bother me.

"Your time as Alpha is over, and I will be taking over."
