Landon's POV

Courtney left the room, saying she wanted to spend some time with Nora. I was reluctant to let her go, but I did eventually. She would need to get to know the people here and have them on her side. Anyway I made sure to ravish her very sumptous body before I let her go. At least that would serve as some consolation for her absense.

Not long after she left, I got a mail from one of my human business partner. There was something that he needed me to check out for him.

It wasn't even long that I left that I got a call from my father to come back for some kind of emergency. I was torn, but after considering my options, I had to drive back to the house. Instead of going to see my father immediately, I decided to check on my mate. I figured that she would be back in the room, but I was wrong.
