It was morning the next day, Aaron, Natalia, Luca and I were sitting around the dining table, having breakfast. I wanted to ask about Landon, and why he was not here with us, but I refrained from asking. I was trying to get him off my mind. At least, until he stops being cocky and proves himself worthy of me. Yes, I was giving myself such high standard, because I believed that I deserved it. I was tired of getting my heart broken.

I forced myself not to think of all my failed relationships, but they still found a way to creep into my mind. I always gave my all, I was always that sweet girl, who was easy to please, but I ended up being taken for granted. I was cheated on, lied to, bossed around, used as a pawn in a different game, even my own mate chose someone else to be with him instead of me, and now I was done. Totally done!

I would reject him if he did not meet up to my standard, if he does not treat me right, if he still ends up picking other girls instead of me. I
