Chapter 35: Pain

Gray entered the room she was supposed to be sleeping in. She was greeted by some scent that almost made her stomach, and the scent was heavily found on the king-sized bed in the center of the huge room.

The decoration was beautiful, but Gray was too angry to appreciate it. She felt disrespected. Judah was already getting on her nerves and Faye. And this exceeded her limit.

Gray stripped the sheets and comforters before calling Mayumi for help. Her tiredness and sleepiness faded from the insult she encountered inside the room. Mayumi and Gray dragged it all to the fire pit. A few warriors roaming around guarding the castle wall stared at them, burning those things.

Those warriors greeted her and helped them with the other things on the fire. No one dared to ask her. They just stood there protecting her as if someone might snatch her away.

Gray stared at the burning sheets with a smile on her lips. Mayumi collected the pillows and dirty laundry before putting them all in the fire.
